Melon Shork

Blaxor, otherwise known as Melon Shork, is a shark-like Raytraxian obtainable by stepping on a Shork Fin while holding out a Watermelon Slice during a Power Outage or Blackout.

Description

This mutation of the Shorks occurred from an odd reaction to the rind and interior of a watermelon, fully developing properly only in dimly lit areas. These raytrax have evolved their own light source, having an odd flame between their horns to see better in the dark. This flame does not hurt when touched, and gives off a sweet melon like smell.

Appearance

Melon Shork is a primarily lime shark-like Raytraxian with darker green angular stripes on its limbs, and small pinkish arrow-shaped designs in between. It has a white-green muzzle and underbelly. Its fins are the same color as its skin with dark-green stripes. It possesses a pair of dark reddish pink horns.

Attack

Does a decent amount of damage to a foe.

Grab

Grabs the enemy. Does more damage the longer the grab is active. The grab can be negated by somebody attacking the grabber, or the victim breaking out of the grab by rapidly pressing the highlighted button(s) enough times.

Anger (Passive)

A reddish colored bar that fills up if someone eats a Watermelon Slice nearby. Doing so will make the Melon Shork's attack deal damage equivalent to 1/3 the health of the average player. The person who eats the Watermelon Slice will have the text "You should probably run away while you can.." appear at the bottom of their screen.

Increased HP (Passive)

Melon Shork has an increased amount of health compared to other Raytraxians, having a total of 125 HP instead of the usual 100 HP.

Trivia

This Raytraxian is based off of BlaxorReborn, the owner of Kaiju Paradise, and his fursona.
It is one of only two Raytraxians that are obtainable by touching a shork fin while holding a food item, the other being Lemon Shork.

To get the "???" Badge you must kill a Melon Shork with a Knife. There is a chance it will drop a watermelon, which you must pick up to obtain the badge. This doesn't work with Melon Shorks which were infected by another person.
- This badge was removed for unknown reasons in V3.1.
During a Blackout or Power Outage, its eyes used glow, and it had a hot pink flame in between its horns which producing an ominous light of a similar color.
- This is a broken feature, and no one knows when it's gonna be fixed.
When being infected, you used to have a slight chance of having a yellow sticky note stuck to your forehead that says "rad". [1/10 chance] (If you had Blaxor in the bestiary, you used to be able to use the command, ":tf [username] Blaxor;note=true" in VIP servers to get a note on your head)
- The sticky note first said ¨Not a furry¨, but was later changed to say "rad" due to complications regarding moderation.
- The sticky note itself, along with the ability to use a command to force it in a VIP server, has since been entirely removed.
When you click on Blaxor’s bestiary icon, the name beneath the image would momentarily say “Blaxor”, before quickly changing back to “Watermelon Shork”.
- This was changed as of 3.1R, as it was changed to only saying "MelonShork" both regularly and after clicking on it.
You can no longer transform into Melon Shork by using ":tf [username] Blaxor", and now must use ":tf [username] MelonShork".
The Melon Shork is not being replaced, the banana eel has become its own separate Raytraxian.
